1.8 TSI on Steroids!
Μεγαλώσαμε! Και μεγαλώσαμε αρκετά!
Έπειτα από μία ριζική αναβάθμιση στο setup του αυτοκινήτου, αφήνοντας πλέον τα bolt-on turbo, ήρθε η ώρα να δοκιμάσουμε τα universal turbo της σειράς XTP.
Επιλέξαμε λοιπόν ένα τουρμπο XTP G SERIES G30-900
Mιας και ο κινητήρας του demo car μας είναι 1800 κυβικά. Έπειτα από σύσταση του προγραμματιστή μας, αποφασίστηκε να προχωρήσουμε σε μικρότερο μαντέμι 0,72 a/r αντί του 0,83 a/r που αρχικά έρχεται το τούρμπο, ώστε να πετύχουμε και δύναμη και πολύ καλύτερο spool χωρίς να χρειαστεί να κατεβάσουμε υπερβολικές στροφές και να επιβαρύνουμε τον κινητήρα.
Το αποτέλεσμα;
Η συνταγή πέτυχε!
Ο Αλέξανδρος Τσουμάνης, ο οποίος έχει αναλάβει εξολοκλήρου τον προγραμματισμό του αυτοκινήτου (κινητήρα και σασμάν DSG), έκανε τρομερή δουλειά και στα δύο μέρη ώστε να συνεργάζονται άψογα μεταξύ τους, αγγίζοντας εύκολα τα 700 άλογα στα 2.6 bar με καύσιμο πρατηρίου και μεθανόλη!
